What To Expect

Back by popular demand - on the heels of our sold-out 2025 series and sold-out Pride 2026 event - we are SO back and thrilled to announce monthly queer country line dancing classes with Sapphic Sounds. These classes are developed by and for our queer and gender diverse whānau who want to boot-scoot, groove and connect - all in a fun, sober space. Rock your fiercest boots, or your favourite pair of jeans - absolutely no dance experience is needed! Spots are limited and tend to book out quickly, so jump in early. You can book a casual class or grab a 10-class package for $200 before 1 March and secure your space on the dance floor! Friday 6 March - Mount Albert War Memorial Hall Friday 10 April - Mount Albert War Memorial Hall Friday 1 May - Mount Albert War Memorial Hall Friday 5 June - Mount Albert War Memorial Hall Thursday 2 July - Mount Eden War Memorial Hall Thursday 6 August - Mount Eden War Memorial Hall Thursday 3 September - Mount Eden War Memorial Hall Thursday 1 October - Mount Eden War Memorial Hall Thursday 5 November - Mount Eden War Memorial Hall Thursday 3 December - Mount Eden War Memorial Hall Time: 7PM-8PM. Dress code: Whatever makes you feel good - boots, sneakers, jorts, you name it. Transport: There’s a small carpark with limited spots directly outside the hall.
