Fusing elements of fitness and ballet, Barre incorporates classic ballet positions with elements inspired from Pilates and Dance. Barre combines cardio and strength with low-impact exercises modified to suit all fitness levels. Absolutely no dance background required. For 45 minutes, feel strong, balanced and elegant with Madi. Enjoy moving your body, make connections with others, and enhance your physical and mental wellbeing in a safe and welcoming environment. Madi is a Group Fitness Instructor at UoA Sport & Rec and teaches Core, Spin, Barre and Stretch classes. She also works as a Producer for contemporary dance companies in Tāmaki Makaurau, is a ballet & contemporary dance teacher, and choreographs her own neo-classical works. Madi is also currently completing her Masters of Dance Studies at UoA. Outside of work & research Madi loves adventuring and spending quality time with friends & family, and she's usually always found drinking a coffee or eating chocolate. To comply with health & safety measures, please bring a bottle of water and wear appropriate footwear.
Radiqal Movement works on an appointment based schedule to allow you the time required for your fitness session. Please be on time for your appointments. If you are late for a session it will still end at the scheduled time. If you are more than 15 minutes late for a session, it will be considered a no-show and you will be required to pay the fee for the session. Any cancellations need to be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment. To cancel or reschedule an appointment, please go to your 'My Booking Page'. Failure to cancel or reschedule a training session within this time will result in you being charged for the session. We reserve the right to modify this cancellation policy at any time.
